First Skydive

Now, that you have made up your mind (or lost it completely), you need to know a few things about your tandem jump before you hit the reservation button.

Restrictions:

You must to be at least 18 years old to skydive (don't forget to bring your ID). Parental consent is not allowed. You must be of legal age to sign a waiver.
You must weigh no more than 220lbs. Exceptions can be made upon instructor approval. Extra fee of $25 for tandem skydivers over 221lbs. Please call ahead.
You are responsible for your health. If you have any medical conditions, consult your doctor before making a reservation.
No drugs or alcohol in your system before you jump.

We know you are going to ask, so, here is the answer:

Skydiving is a high risk activity. You may sustain serious injuries or even die;
Skydive Chatham reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
You should arrive at the drop zone at least 15 minutes prior to your appointment time for paperwork and payment.
Plan on spending a total of 4 hours at the skydive center. Skydiving is a weather dependent sport. You are in Chatham. Fog happens...
No ID, no jump – no exceptions.
Safety is our first priority. Due to a several reasons (weather is the most common) you might not skydive on the day you choose. Please be patient.
You will not loose your deposit because of inclement weather but you must contact us before you decide not come. Weather decisions are made by drop zone staff.
You must wear comfortable clothing for the weather, like shorts and a T-shirt. You may even want to bring an extra layer like a fleece or sweatshirt. It's much colder at higher altitudes. Sneakers or tennis shoes are required. No boots, sandals, heels or bare feet!
Skydive Chatham does not provide jump suits. We have found them not to be hygienic.
Pets are not allowed and kids must be strictly supervised by an adult.
Weekends are our busiest time. Be prepared to spend the entire day. If you have the opportunity, it is best to book your tandem jump on a weekday. Our instructors will have more time to spend with you and your group.
Bring more money. You will want to jump again!
